Pels Select New Baseball Coach

The Klamath Union Pelicans have selected a new head baseball coach after many weeks of deliberation among the Athletics staff, school administration, and sports boosters clubs. The new coach is now officially named as Mike Luce. Luce has been an assistant to the Pels baseball squad for over 5 years now and is taking over for Brad Croxford after Croxford carried the Pels for over ten years. Luce will take over after the Pels had a 6-11-1 2016 season. Croxford stepped down in June of 2016 as the head coach. The job hunt started with many prospects both with internal and external applicants. After many months of deliberation, the Pels have selected Luce as the new head coach. The Pels will start their 2017 baseball campaign in March.
